Fantasy Baseball UK underway, plus take the short FBUK Manager Survey

Posted on 28 April 2023

Thank you to those who registered to play Fantasy Baseball UK 2023. In total, 130 managers registered across the various league formats, which is the highest number since FBUK relaunched in 2020. As well as the regulars, it is encouraging to see some managers returning after a few years away, plus some newcomers. All are welcome!

In the Yahoo draft leagues, there has been a noticeable flurry of early season trading between teams, much more compared to previous seasons. This suggests that perhaps managers are getting more comfortable with the inter-team trading aspect, which was not a factor in the original FBUK format.

The first month of the season is almost complete and the Standings section on the FBUK website now has all the daily league standings collected in one place. For each of the FBUK League (standard draft game), FBUK LTD (limited trade game), FBUK Classic and $5m Game (salary cap leagues) you can view the divisions as well as the combined standings for each of the overall championships.

Manager Survey

Since the relaunch in 2020, the game has evolved each season so with this year’s increase in managers, we’d be grateful if you could take around five minutes to complete a quick survey. It will help us learn a bit more about the people playing Fantasy Baseball UK and get feedback to help inform the development of the fantasy league.

Finally, if you don’t already, you might consider subscribing to our main mailing list which is the primary method of getting news and updates out to FBUK members through the year (besides the website itself).

Thanks for playing and good luck for the season!
